Extract a terrain-derived candidate stream network — extract_synthetic_stream

Runs compact Priority-Flood conditioning, native D8 direction and flat resolution, cell-count accumulation, hectare thresholding and lossless consolidation between heads, junctions and the outlet. The Hydro DEM remains unchanged. Outputs are candidates for analyst review, not accepted FGDB data.

Arguments

dem: Existing projected Hydro DEM path.
outlet_cell: One reviewed outlet cell from [locate_stream_outlet()].
output_directory: Existing empty job-owned directory.
threshold_ha: Positive contributing-area threshold in hectares.
memory_budget_mb: Total co-resident application/worker memory budget.
safety_fraction: Fraction of the budget available to the job.
